SIMEC Institute of Technology observed International Mother Language Day on the 21st of February 2026 On the occasion of International Mother Language Day 2026, SIMEC Institute of Technology organized a meaningful remembrance and cultural program, demonstrating its strong commitment to linguistic heritage, national values, and cultural identity. Faculty members, students, and all members of the SIMEC family came together to pay profound tribute to the language martyrs and to reflect on the historic sacrifice of 1952, which secured our fundamental right to speak freely in our mother tongue. This dignified observance reinforced our collective responsibility to preserve, promote, and uphold the Bengali language, recognizing it not only as a medium of communication but also as a powerful symbol of our history, culture, and national pride, inspiring us to carry forward the legacy of the martyrs for future generations.
