Dr. Ratan Kumar Roy, Director of the SIMEC Research Center, participated as an invited speaker at a workshop held at the National University of Singapore on January 20, 2026. The workshop, titled The Politics of Post-Uprising Reform in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka: Rule of Law, Institutions, and Constitutional Reforms, was organized by the Rule of Law Programme Asia, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, and the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS), NUS. During his session, Dr. Roy delved into the institutional and constitutional aspects of the 2024 uprisings in Bangladesh, offering valuable insights into their impact on governance and reform processes
